Why Join Ashfield Pirates FC?

Ashfield Pirates FC is one of the fastest-growing football clubs in the Inner West, and that growth comes from staying true to what matters most, people, community and enjoyment of the game.

We provide football opportunities for all ages and abilities, from Under 4s to Over 55s, across mixed, boys’, girls’, women’s and men’s teams. Whether your child is kicking a ball for the first time, returning to football after a break, or aiming to develop their skills further, there’s a place for them at the Pirates.

Our club culture is built around fun, safety and respect. We prioritise creating a positive environment where players feel supported, parents feel welcome, and volunteers feel valued. While we encourage players to improve and challenge themselves, we never lose sight of the fact that this is grassroots football, enjoyment always comes first.

The Pirates are deeply connected to the Ashfield and Inner West community. We run free school programs, support female football pathways, and actively encourage young players to step into coaching and leadership roles. Our volunteers and coaches are passionate about helping players grow not just as footballers, but as confident, respectful people.

When you join Ashfield Pirates FC, you’re joining a club with a strong sense of identity, clear values, and a genuine commitment to its members. We’re proud of our past, excited about our future, and always ready to welcome new Pirates on board.
