OUR EXECUTIVE TEAM
JEAN KOURIEL
Founder & Club President
Jean has been involved in football for over 40 years and has played for clubs in NSW such as Marconi Club, Sydney United Southern District & Colo Colo. He represented Australia in Futsal & NSW School boys in Football.

Jean, with the assistance of the late Adam Spencer-Carr, founded the Pirates in 2015 and together with hard working volunteers is now one of the fastest growing clubs in the inner west.

Jean introduced the Pirates Training Program in 2020 along with his fully qualified C license coaches to assist in developing the future Pirates stars. In 2024 we have now an additional 5 qualified youth coaches assisting us with coaching the under 4-7's Little Pirates.

REGIS SHAMON
Club Secretary
Regis joined the Pirates Executive team in 2024. He has been involved in coaching for over 5 years including the under 15/2 Pirates team in 2024. Regis received his C license coaching certificate in 2023 and will commence his B license qualification in 2025.
SVETLANA JOVANOVIC
Club Treasurer
Svetlana was involved initially due to her son's involvement with the Pirates in the under 8's mixed team but has now served 6 years as the Club Treasurer.
JACK KIRKBY
Club MPIO
Jack is the Player/Manager for one of the Pirates All Age men's teams. He joined the executive team as the Member Protection Information Officer in 2018 and is one of our most valued Members. He works tirelessly in all aspects of the club.
THOMAS FELIZZI
Club Registrar
Thomas is the Player/Captain of the 2019 Premiership winning Pirates All Age 5 men's team. Thomas wanted to assist the club in anyway which would make the lives of our other volunteers easier and he volunteered his time to assist with player registration.
